Face to Face Sessions
A calm and confidential space where we can sit together, talk things through and work at a pace that feels right for you.
Whether something from your past is shaping your present, or you simply need time to talk, The Counselling Vine is a safe space to explore exactly where you are right now — and time to grow.
I understand that life's challenges can sometimes become overwhelming, and seeking professional guidance is a powerful step towards reclaiming your balance.
At The Counselling Vine, Moray, I believe in fostering a safe, compassionate space to explore your thoughts, emotions and concerns — with person-centred counselling shaped around your unique needs.
I offer a range of therapeutic approaches to help you navigate life transitions, emotional struggles, and personal growth.
Counselling doesn't need to feel clinical. Sometimes it's simply about having a calm, confidential space where you can slow things down and work through what life has brought your way.
"Jill has a wonderful way of putting you at ease. She's helped me grow so much in confidence and self-esteem — I'd recommend her without hesitation."A client, The Counselling Vine
A calm and confidential space where we can sit together, talk things through and work at a pace that feels right for you.
The same supportive approach from wherever feels comfortable for you, making counselling easier to fit around everyday life.
For some people, talking while walking can feel easier than sitting face to face. Walk and Talk sessions offer the opportunity to explore whatever is on your mind while spending time outdoors.
Ask about Walk & TalkCounselling can provide a wide range of benefits that help you navigate challenges, enhance your well-being, and support personal growth — the outcomes vary depending on your goals and the approach that fits you best.
You have the ability to find your own solutions through gentle exploration; I'll help you find them.
That's completely okay — you can discuss whatever comes to mind. Past or present difficulties and sensitive topics can be addressed whenever you're ready. I'm fully equipped to handle these discussions at your pace.
Confidentiality matters. What you share in sessions stays private, with exceptions only as required by law or professional safeguarding responsibilities.
Please read the cancellation policy before booking. In short, 24 hours' notice is required in order to be refunded.
Person-centred, or client-centred, therapy is a humanistic and empathetic approach developed by Carl Rogers. It places a strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and your own capacity for growth, self-awareness and positive change.
It can support people experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem and other personal challenges.
Progress can look different for everyone. You might notice increased self-awareness, improved coping skills, better communication, reduced distress, a stronger sense of empowerment, or simply a different perspective on what you're experiencing.
We'll address those feelings together, constructively and supportively. You'll always have a safe, non-judgemental space to express yourself openly.
Counselling is a collaborative process. If you're feeling overwhelmed, it's completely acceptable to say so and we'll work through it together.
This varies depending on the issues being addressed, your goals, your progress and the frequency of sessions. There isn't a single timeframe that is right for everyone.
